Netgear gives lousy phone support. Try posting your problem on the Infrant forums. It has all the folks who were with Infrant before Netgear acquired them. They take pride in their product, and they may be able to help get you the support you need. They helped me get a free power supply when mine burned out and the phone support people were useless.
I'd second that that. I was quite happy with Infrant (the company and the product) and was very concerned when I heard about Netgear acquiring them. Fortunately I have not had much trouble with my NAS, but the forum support seems to still be responsive and knowledgable.
