These replies are great. We all got a great laugh out of it while circling over Vegas. We did get to see the Grand Canyon too!

I would never ACTUALLY think of asking for the miles, just wondering if anyone has. When the guy next to me in Business class brought it up, the lady on the other side of him cracked "what, are you trying for 1K or something." I got a good laugh.

I did sit and watch the mileage odometer on the video screen go up from 5456 (about normal from LHR-LAX) to over 5900 once we finally landed.

And no, I did not take a pic of the screen once we landed, if you are wondering.
