Our guide neglected to mention that you are not supposed to cross directly in front of the ROK guards. One young man on our tour got the scare of his life as the guard quickly switched from statue mode to martial arts mode. The rest of us thought it was hilarious.

This Korean movie, JSA, is a good one to watch prior to visiting.
