Hi everyone,

I'm hoping you can help me - I have a question on behalf of a friend who is flying Cathay Pacific this week. She is flying from LHR to SYD, moving from London back to Australia. Needless to say she has loads of things to take with her....whilst she is sending as much by sea freight as she can, she is worried about ending up overweight at the airport with the things she will need immediately on arrival. Could anyone give any advice on how flexible Cathay are with weight allowances at Heathrow? My friend used to be a decent status within the One World alliance, but unfortunately doesn't have any status anymore, so no help there....

Any advice would be greatly appreciated to help ease her mind!
