The reason why you have not been able to solve this problem on your own (try as you might) is that there is no solution, unless you consider $1,000 cheap or settle for South Florida.

I found AA flights STL-RSW on Dec. 24, rtn Dec. 30, for $352 ($373 all-in. It should be pretty warm.
