Interesting to note that your credit card has the PayPass logo on the backside instead of the front. Maybe it was a originally a test card that they had in stock?
Seriously, being a bean-counter in real life, I don't get Citibank's rationale in their decision of not incorporating more of their credit cards with PayPass. Why would they spend $$$ in making a keychain thing-a-ma-jig which is sent out for free but requires the user to call in to request one? Is it that difficult to incorporate a chip into a credit card? Even Capital One has it! Sheesh.
