The chip-based transportation methods (Hong King, Singapore, Londone come to mind from our travels) are simply fantastic! As you mention, it would make things so much simpler here. It's probably been mentioned elsewhere in this thread, but the Starwood Amex does have it. But I can't speak for the Citibank offerings.
