Another EE benefit that's useful is being able to book up to a fullsize car with only 24 hours notice, even if the location is sold out. It's come in handy a couple of times for me.
Good point, thank you. In our case, we already have our travel plans through May 2009 pretty well set. Our flights are booked into Jan 2009 and there's little chance we'll have an unexpected last minute need.
