Is it also possible that length of haul is a factor? It seems that the carriers with the shortest average lengths of haul (i.e. WN and the regionals) are being disproportionately affected. In an environment of generally increasing fares, perhaps the flights that are most replaceable by ground transport are most vulnerable to traffic declines.
