I'll be staying in Downtown LA in November for 24 hours, and will try to pack your 10 days worth of suggestions (or at least the best parts) into that period.

I've decided to rent a car though (for $19.50 with Enterprise Neighborhood you can't go wrong even at $4.40+ a gallon)

This ought to be fun!
