Maybe the airlines should be more like Southwest then. When will they learn? Hidden cities are not an issue when you sell one way or do point to point fares. Plus if there were discrepancies, fare differences are so minimal. I do not think I have ever had of anyone have to pay $1500 or more because they violated their ticketing sequence on Southwest. Horror stories on the other hand exist on the majors.

Secondly, if airlines spent more time on selling tickets instead of nitpicking rules, maybe they could turn a profit.

I can not wait until Joe Brancatelli (www.joesentme.com) gets a hold of this. He is going to have a field day attacking Continental.
