These conditions are true in most FF programs I've looked at, and I always assume this is the case.
General principle - follow the rules, get what you are promised.
Try to manipulate the system and break the rules, put yourself at risk to lose all benefits.
No, I don't think they would do anything except in extreme. But test it at your own risk.
