The example you cite is classic "hidden-city" and NOT "point-beyond" [that's the reason I asked what is "point-beyond?"].
And of course your "hidden-city" example circumvents CO's fare structure and thus jeopardizes all of the OnePass miles you may have accumulated to date in your OnePass account.
