On an all AA international award is this allowed:

GRR-ORD [overnight connection]-DFW[stopover]
DFW-MIA- [overnight connection]-GUA[end]
GUA-MIA [overnight connection]-ORD-GRR

Agent 1 told me the overnight connections would count as a stopover
Agent 2 told me stopover in DFW would not be allowed since it was not a gateway
