not paranoid to ck & reck

Man, can I relate to this. I usually ck every week for sched changes to itins, but somehow it got to be 2 weeks & LO -- I'd been rerouted from a 3-stop outbound w/ 40-60 min between segments to another w/ 12 min between flt 1 & 2 at PDX (w/ flt 1 having a 30% on time rating). Called instantly & 1st comment was that since I hadn't called within a week 'I had accepted change'. I don't think so & when I pointed out it was not a 'legal' connection, the CSR backed down. Having done my homework, I had acceptable flts lined up; long story short: she accepted my 1st choice, which actually made it a 2-stop flt that was $75 cheaper AND credited it to my UA visa (no voucher).
