I have plenty of time to figure out flight plans, I am planning on participating in a two week study abroad in May 2010. I have more than the 90k miles needed to book the Saver business class seating. The last time I flew abroad I tried to upgrade to business class probably 6 months or more before the flight and called at least once a month, and they never had saver reward seating in business class. So, can a few of you experts give me tips? if I book in May 2009 will that make the chances alot better for getting the reward seating? The problem there is that the class schedule will probably not be finalized until much later. (The May 2009 trip that I can't attend will not be finalized until late October).
