The other options of driving or taking SEPTA does not seem very appealing.
Has anyone done this commute? Am I missing something on the cost of the Amtrak pass?

As a monthly commuter from WIL to PHL ($630/mo for a 20-minute trip), the big problem on the fare is that capacity is often sold out, so Amtrak jacks up the price. But it's interesting they only add $270 for the 27 minutes from TRE to PHL... I actually might have guessed that it would be more. I'd try to find a way to bill it to your client...
