"Not sure what part of Tokyo you mean when you say downtown Tokyo"

I am not sure of this either KIXman as I have never been to Japan before but my daughter, who is in her 3rd year of studying Japanese, said there were some places in the Shinjuku area she wanted to see and shop at so I suppose that is one area we would be going too. I know there are many other areas to see as well I just wanted to make sure that if we take a room at the Hilton Tokyo Bay it is not completely unreasonable in terms of travel time to see the sites. I don't mind a 30 minute "ish" ride/walk to see things but I think over an 1 hour gets to be long when you only have a few days.
