and value wise besides carrying clothing for both summer and winter conditions (3mths around the pacific) the luggage had a whole stack of hiking gear and that ain't cheap you know...again i reiterate why bother asking me to itemise missing contents and their value if you don't pay anywhere near it's value...
All this and no travel insurance?
I know it is frustrating if any airline loses a bag, but equally I know I'd never depend on the airline for full compensation if it happens. I don't delcare the value of my luggage every time I fly so I don't expect them to cover me completely for its loss either.
