I'd be inclined to give this a test run. Here is an example of how it might work:

I'm going to be on an extended stay somewhere and I'd like lodging with a great gym, or affiliated with one. Exercise is more important than hotel loyalty programs. Location-specific postings might not even be viewed by people who have possible tips. And chain-specific would require multi-posting (such as "What Starwood in San Francisco has the best gym?" "What Hilton in SF... etc etc. )

It also might get some food-related posting which is more well-suited to its own forum than "dining buzz."
