Postscript: my reasonably stuffed 20-inch roll-aboard easily fit into the overhead bin on the 146-100 and 146-200. Note, however, that the rows under the wings (see seatguru for details) have much smaller bins that barely hold a coat, let alone a roll-aboard. But the bins in the rest of plane are surprisingly large.
Also, I had seat 1-D, which is great if you are tall because there is no bulkhead and you can stretch into the galley (1 E and F do have a bulkhead). However, while this was fine for me because the FA stayed her in her seat the entire flight due to turbulence, it might be awkward sitting in 1-D when the FA is trying to work directly in front of you.
