Hi,

I have purchased (and sold ) Eurostar tickets on the internet several times from strangers and Eurostar doesn't care. In fact, a fellow FlyerTalker gave me two tickets to Paris some time ago and I travelled with my friends for free. With automatic check-in it's not a problem. Even with manual check-in you are not required to present your passport as this is done separately (unless you are under 26).
