That doesn't mean that the program shouldn't be revisited. MWH and CLM haven't died because they don't have service. I daresay a lot of things have changed since 1978. Some of these communities can't support air service even with EAS subsidies. Perhaps its time to revisit what the standards are for receiving EAS subsidies. "Did they have service in 1978?" may not be the best use of public resources.
