I was able to set up a special email account to deposit all the questions/follow-up that normally come through my PM box... to keep better track of it, and to save me from having to paste stuff from said PM box into my email when I have to work with another department to get the question answered, and to keep you from having to check FT to see if I answered your PM.
As with anything cool, there have to be ground rules....so PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not use this account in lieu of the normal Customer Service channels. We have excellent people on the front lines, and 9 times out of 10, they can get you an answer quicker than I can.
If you encounter a situation where the normal channels have been exhausted and you were going to PM me or you've posted something that you want me to respond to ... and need to get my attention, then please use the email address.
If you just want to tell me how cool I am, then please use the email address and I'll forward it to everyone who is capable of giving me a raise. Or you could do one of those cool Gold Thank you certs too. I <heart> those.
If you want to tell me how NOT cool I am, then write out your email, and immediately hit delete. You'll feel better for writing, and I won't have to read it.
