Does priority baggage handling really exist?
I always thought that one of the benefits of flying CW was priority baggage handling and that my baggage would arrive on the belt before all the cases from those "down the back".
However on several flights (a mix of CW and WT+) recently the baggage priority seems to have been based on a random number generator rather than class of travel.
When I've flown WT+ I've had my baggage from what must be the first or second container off the plane and converserly on several CW flights my baggage has been 30..45mins after the first bag (most notably on a recent LHR-YYZ the last dozen passengers at the belt consisted of mainly fellow CW pax I recognised from the flight.)
So does priority baggage handling exist ? Or has it ever formally exisited in the past as I can't find it listed as a benefit on BA.com anywhere.
