Smile Why I like my Marriotts ...

Hi all,

After reading many threads in multiple fora, whether it's the Marriott forum, or the Hilton forum .. I figured I would share a pleasant overall experience this weekend, which also reminds me of why I pool my nights at Marriott (as much as I can that is).

Arrived at the Renaissance Brussels:

- Sir, the hotel is fully booked, so we've upgraded you to a Junior Suite
- You're not on the Executive floor, but here's your color coded keycard for access to the Concierge Lounge (just read all the threads on the Hilton forum about needing to be on the Exec floor to get this)
- When I went down to print my boarding pass, the front desk was out of Internet vouchers ... so the friendly staff member said: 'Email the document to us, and we will be happy to print it for you'.
- An envelope under my door on Friday to let me know the lounge is closed on weekends, but enclosing a drinks voucher and telling me I was getting free breakfast at the restaurant instead (ok, they didn't include the same for my wife ... I didn't pursue that)

They certainly made me feel valued as a customer. Just like the Tysons Corner Marriott recently, where the front desk read my profile, and had room keeping bring (a) additional pillows, (b) a fridge (even though the room already had a fridge). They do read your profile, and in my experience, it's becoming more consistent.

Anyway ... just wanted to share a positive experience, one which will keep me loyal to Marriott.

Cheers,
