Question Issues with account going into negative territory?

The majority of my SPG activity is through the Amex card, then I transfer to the airlines when I'm at the 20k Starpoint level.

Last week I bought a fairly high priced item but I've opted to now return it. In the meantime my Amex statement has closed and the points have posted to my account. I've since transferred these 20k Starpoints out to my airline account.

As I'm not going to spend enough this month to cover the cost of the item I'm returning I expect to have the difference removed from my account which will put it into negative territory for at least one month.

Are there any issues with this situation, it should only be a fairly short term thing.
