Do anything you can to avoid an LHR<>LGW transfer. 1) it costs $40/person each way, and can take up to 2 hrs on a weekday. I have had three different horrible problems doing that transfer over the years, including missing a BA flight to Naples from LGW due to a small delay on AA getting to LHR.
