Here is an e-mail I received at the end of August. I'll be going through Heathrow in a few weeks and have used Gatwick several times. It mentions the BMI Diamond Club. Is that just another name for the Star Alliance lounge or another one all together?


We want to let you know about changes to our lounge services in London.

On September 5, 2008, we're closing the US Airways Club and Envoy Arrivals Lounge in London Gatwick (LGW) Airport. If you're flying in Envoy, you'll have lounge access at The Club (South Terminal) before your scheduled departure.

If you're a Star Alliance Gold member or flying in Envoy at London Heathrow (LHR), you'll still be able to visit the bmi diamond club lounge.
