VX 1874 SFO-SAN A319 N528VA "Fog Cutter" 9/24/08

Excellent flight! Load was at least 75%...not bad for Weds 3:15 PM. Of course, VX has also cut the number of SFO-SAN flights from 6 to 4 (5 on fri). Noticed there were three VX aircraft parked remotely at SFO (presumably not in service). Check-in was a breeze. The "gate posse" (yes that's what the monitor said) addressed each passenger by name during the boarding process. Pushback was right on-time. The cabin crew was very good, and my Red-ordered drink showed up within a couple minutes. IFE worked fine (chat was turned off as seems to be the norm). Watched a couple of short subject films (complimentary), including one in French. First time I've seen a foreign language film/TV selection on VX that wasn't Mandarin/Cantonese/Japanese/Spanish. Prompt disembarkation at SAN.
