I dont know if u can accepting eating the salad even though it's been touched by meat, but that can be an option. Can u possibly give us the details of the flight since 4 1/2 hr flight from DFW to Canada can be possibly be going to YVR or YYC. I fly YVR-DFW a bit but i think one of them is a breakfast and the other is a dinner flight unless i'm mistaken. Happy Travels!!
DFW to VYR, departs at 10:45a so I'm assuming that's too late to be considered breakfast. Return is YYC to DFW, departs 230p, too late for lunch, too early for dinner.
I plan on bringing my main (sandwich or something) because I won't pick out the meat or chicken from a sandwich or salad and eat the rest. But the little pasta side salad, cheese and cookie will be fine so I don't have to bring extras like that.
I hate having to juggle a bag full of food every time I fly along with my carry-on, personal item, book, magazine, newspaper, etc.
