I flew LH over Labor Day weekend ORD-FRA and had no problems at all - of course that was F on a 744

Anyway, I do agree that LH Y (especially the A340's) leaves a little to be desired. Intra-Europe LH is also nothing to write home about - in either C or Y.

My experience with LH has always been a speaking a little (or trying to) Deutsche and a smile measurably improves the service.
