Well, A300-200, but same difference. The range advantage of a -600 was only about 200mi. And at 3,600nm still less than that of even a 752. Now how would that now-antiquated aircraft be a better tool for CO's missions than say a 764?
For what I understand, CO is short on aircraft, especially decent longhoul. So why use longhoul (764) on domestic routes?
They should have kept the A300s.

Airbus was a pig to work on....not much worked well on those things
They are pretty reliable with Lufthansa for example. Maybe CO didn't know how to maintain them properly?
