It's historic, it's in a nice location and it serves a curious comestible, but why do so many people rave about the place? Deep fried dough smothered with powdered sugar and uninspiring coffee. I've gone a few times just to make sure I wasn't just in a bad mood or something, but the food just tastes ... well, boring.

(Given that the staff are all Vietnamese, is it too much to ask them to at least offer Vietnamese coffee? Huh?)
