And as far as surviving the long-haul flights, the UA 777s Exit Row seats are really great in my opinion, and you're lucky to have those pre-assigned (30B or 30H I assume). It's really the next best thing to having Business Class, and you're very fortunate since the Asia 777s don't have Economy Plus as I understand it.

My survival strategy -- take two Benadryl or similiar anti-histamine or Unisom to get you drowsy... bring a pair of earplugs, a blindfold, and an inflatable neck pillow. That works for me, certainly not for everyone.
