Stayed 2 nights at each--JW and FS across the street last year...OK, well it SHOULD have been 2 and 2. Wound up 1 and 3! The JW staff and hotel are much nicer....the marriott was a mess with not so nice staff....
the breakfast was decent at shulas---i also went to cafe du monde (both in the FQ and in the riverside mall) for beignets!
[note...i wasn't thrilled with NOLa either....and the gunshots i heard at 2 am were a little disconcerting-but if i got a good deal , i guess i would give it another shot!--i just had a very weird feeling the whole weekend i was in the city.....]
