It is not too bad although as you need to collect your suitcases and walk the relatively short distance to the domestic section through the arrivals area, you do need to look confident as you walk through the crowds and ignore anyone that tries to talk to you (cab, porters etc). I would say it is not dangerous but a little off putting for a first time visitor

I would still seriosuly consider this route if there are BA Miles seats available. Comair flies to Durban, Port Elizabeth (great for the Garden Route and Shamwari Game resport) and CPT.
