There are a couple of restaurants in the museum property so visiting over a meal time isn't a problem. There is also an IMAX theater but with limited time, that seems like a waste. I spent several hours there and could have stayed longer.
If you are an aviation/aerospace buff, prepare to be blown away.
The "restaurants"--at least those I remember seeing, and the ones listed on the museum's
Web site--consist of a McDonald's and a couple of other food-court regulars (Boston Market, some pizza place). Then again, if your baseline for dining pleasure is the C/D terminal at Dulles, the museum's concessions won't be a big step down
That said, it's all true what people have written here about the hardware on display. The only place I could compare it to, in terms of exhibit space and diversity of aircraft, would be the Air Force Museum at Wright-Pat AFB in Dayton.
