Congratulations! I recently went through a similar dilemma, and decided to stay in E+, mainly so my child could have his own seat with carrier. My problem, we didn't know the sex of the child, so we didn't have a name yet. I tried to get a seat, but nobody could sell me a seat unless I had a name to go with it. I even tried to book two seats for myself and that didn't go. Now that we have a name, I can't get a seat for under $1200 for my itinerary. So he's a lapchild and I'm hoping that the middle seat stays open.
