Went to EU for four weeks a few months ago. Thought I could just use hotel computers or internet cafe because did not want to lug my laptop around even if it was only 4.5 lbs. Internet access was expensive (after exchange rate) so could not get myself to do it and towards end of trip I was longing for my laptop. Can't wait for the MID laptops to be able to access 3G.
