Bus trip is 12+ hours, long and tiring. If you were concerned about crossing the pond in Y, then adding two more trips of similar length in similarly cramped seats is not ideal...
Including costs of getting to and from the airports, flying may cost you $100 more each way, but IMHO it is well worth the spend...
