Thanks a lot guys. I guess I will try to standby for the earlier flight. According to AP, it is still free standby for AP exec tickets.

Honestly, I havent done standby often. Can I check in online then phone AC early in the morning to confirm a seat? Or I have to wait until I am at the airport? Thx.
