OK. Name me airlines which provide food during delays. I'm deathly serious -- becuase I have not encountered any -- other than AA 20 years back when I got delayed SEA->ONT for a mechanical, and they trotted out the Admiral's club fare. If this is standard practice, I'd honestly like to know.
Then name me a European/Japanese train service which provides food during delays. Most European trains have meals on a first-class car...
Do you think that the government should provide me food because I got stuck in traffic for two hours because of construction?
Tell me this, *why* should United provide food to passengers for a delay? Is it in their contract of carriage? How much of a delay should "activate" said service?
