Exactly. I am in the camp that gives UA ^ for doing this. It is more than I have ever seen them do for any of my delayed flights, and as we all have, I have had plenty of those. They could have done nothing...which is what they usually do.
I don't get it... you're giving a thumbs up for giving a $5 voucher because it's more than they normally do, but give them a thumbs down for providing snacks at the gate? Isn't *that* more than what they normally do?
What's the beef with the snacks? Nutritional quality?
