The part you are missing is that the OP should have NEVER had this issue to begin with. They should not have had to spend one minute of their honeymoon on this issue. That is unacceptable. They did their diligence in advance and Starwood did not honor their commitments.
I find it sad that Starwood admitted their problem pretty quickly but then proceed to draw this out for so long. They should have made the OP whole immediately and figured out their internal accounting and finger pointing later.
If I was the OP, Id see it as the more *W draws it out and the more Im hassled, the more Compensation *W is going to have to fork over
