Talking about the M&M MC... recently a topic came up in the german speaking VFF Forum that they issue these on a Debit/Prepaid basis for people without german Schufa / Bank history. Can someone confirm that ?
I was just thinking of getting one for my gf but she's US citizen and never lived here in europe. I opened a checking account for her though a while ago.
And the other question is: Even if they do - Will they credit miles for it ?
There were answers given but I specifically ask here again because the VFF is a little "special" to say the least.
It was at least possible with the old M&M Visa Card years ago. As the card won't be connected to your bank account, it works a little differently than American debit cards. You have to wire money in advance and that's the amount that one can use off. You get miles for that! Price was the same as usual credit card.
