Another Delta apologist... How sad. Did you read the story? The guy did not tell the airline when and how to fly. He simply said: if you're canceling the flight give me me money back, so I can pay for my own flight. They refused. In direct contravention of their own CoC (which they wrote too), I may add. It seems the jerks were opposite the lawyer this time.

It was about this guy showing the world he's in charge.
I'd rather the airline and pilot, with their experience, make the decision, thank you, than somebody with a law degree who thinks he's going to live forever so it's okay to bring kids into the world as he's approaching Social Security collection age.
And at $400/hr. billing time - probably a good guess - he spent $1,600 in hours on this.
I'll stand by this guy being a jerk.
