oh yeah TSA was doing this in houston and the EMS crews we had down south gave them plenty of crap (Spiff you would be proud), and snarky comments especially after they refused to give the EMS crew 5 cases of water to keep on the truck as they where getting sent out to run 911 calls in south houston and galveston. They got the water and ice after a FEMA rep told them that if they didnt help the crew there would be hell to pay.
According to one of the guys one of the three stripers said something about doing his duty, and helping out and the medic replied "then why dont you quit your f$%^*!@ job then, because you doing your duty is causing the founding fathers to roll in there graves" to which got a round of thunderous applause from all those around the POD. Trust me the comments and opinions of TSA are much lower then that of FEMA. That considering FEMA still has plenty of issues on how they respond to disasters.
This is more of TSA creeping there mission when they cant do it originally in the first place.
