Reading the posted article, isn't it amazing that the entire Chep Lap Kok airport... (which I have a stunning view of from the window of my hotel now) is stated to have cost 10 billion UKP to build in 1998 and that now the projected cost of the 3rd runway alone at LHR is 13 billion UKP. Even allowing for cheaper labour in HKG and ten years of inflation, does that not sound implausible?
