This has been mentioned here before with others. My employer uses BCD travel, who uses Amadeus. When I book and fly on AA, UA or CO those reservations are immediately reflected in my account on those respective airlines as long as my FF# was used. Hmmmmm...AA uses SABRE, UA uses Amadeus and CO uses SHARES, right? So why is US' home grown abomination of SHARES that's been hacked to death so behind the curve?!

Furthermore, on my corporate booking engine I am unable to choose seats on US from our in house online travel tool. But I have no problem doing so for other airlines.

My solution - book on US as minimal as possible.

Side note - I am able to manually pull up my rez on usairways.bomb with the locator number. But I cannot add it to my DM account for future use. Anytime I want to look it up, I have to have that loctator # available to retrieve it.
